We're excited to announce that you can now upload images directly into the rich text editor when creating Linear tickets from Crisp conversations. This feature makes it easier than ever to provide visual context for bug reports, feature requests, and customer issues.
What's new
The ticket creation modal now includes full image upload support. You can add screenshots, error messages, UI mockups, or any other visual content directly into your ticket descriptions. Images are automatically uploaded and embedded in the ticket, ensuring your engineering team has all the context they need.
Why this matters
A picture is worth a thousand words, especially when it comes to bug reports. Instead of trying to describe what a customer is seeing, you can now include the actual screenshot. This leads to:
- Faster resolution times - Engineers can immediately see the issue without back-and-forth clarification
- Better bug reports - Visual context eliminates ambiguity and reduces misunderstandings
- Improved customer experience - Issues get resolved faster when all the information is captured upfront
- Streamlined workflows - No need to manually upload images separately or link to external hosting
How to use it
Adding images to your Linear tickets is simple and flexible. When creating a new ticket from a Crisp conversation, you have three options:
- Drag & drop - Simply drag an image file from your desktop or file explorer directly into the editor
- Paste from clipboard - Take a screenshot or copy an image, then paste it directly into the editor
- Click to upload - Use the image icon in the toolbar to browse and select files from your device
Images are automatically uploaded and securely stored in Linear's storage, so you don't need to worry about file sizes or external hosting.
What's next
We're continuing to improve the ticket creation experience based on your feedback. If you have suggestions for additional features or improvements, please reach out to our team using the Crisp widget on this page.
